Our Team put forth a great performance at the Forster Friendly Competition in 2025! We were very proud to watch the team take to the mats and give their all to represent HDMA and themselves!

The competition showcased competitors' skill in Sparring, Individual Poomsae, Pair Poomsae and Board Breaking. Many of our competitors were first timers and you couldn't even tell! Everyone was excited to take center court and show what they could do.

From our 14 participants, we earned 23 Gold Medals and 12 Silver Medals. We also received three special awards at the presentation ceremony; Junior Sparring Award (Archer Lim), Technical Breaking Award (Charlotte McNutt) and Rising Star (Claire Tennant).

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the team throughout the day! We were lucky to have Hazel Paterson and Andreina Lim assisting as Team Managers, Sosati Lim as photographer and Sosati, David and Hayden as Board Holders. Also a massive thank you to all of the parents and family members who made the trip up to the competition to support the team!

We hope to have an even bigger team representing at the competition next year!
